Terms of Service.

The terms that govern your use of ComplianceGuard's informational FDA compliance risk scanning service.

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website or purchasing any ComplianceGuard service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you are using the service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.

Our service

ComplianceGuard provides informational FDA compliance risk scanning for food, supplement, and wellness brands. You submit a public website URL, and we deliver a report: a risk-scored inventory of health claims, structure-function statements, and disclaimer coverage found on your public pages, cross-referenced against public FDA enforcement data, with compliant rewrite suggestions where applicable. The service is delivered as a report — not as ongoing legal supervision or a certification.

Not legal advice

ComplianceGuard is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Our reports are informational risk scans only. Nothing we provide is legal advice, creates an attorney–client relationship, or substitutes for review by a qualified regulatory attorney. You are responsible for your own compliance decisions and for the content you publish.

Payments

Fees are one-time or recurring charges depending on the plan, and are processed through Dodo Payments. The current plans are:

  • Risk Scan — $149, one-time.
  • Full Audit — $499, one-time.
  • Monitor — $199 per month, billed monthly until cancelled.

You agree to provide accurate billing information and to pay the fees associated with any plan you select.

Refunds

If you purchase a one-time plan (Risk Scan or Full Audit) and we have not delivered a report, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Monitor plans can be cancelled at any time, and cancellation stops future billing. Refunds for delivered reports are at our discretion.

No guarantee

We do not guarantee any regulatory outcome. Specifically, we cannot and do not guarantee that your site is violation-free, that following our suggestions will prevent FDA action, or that the FDA will not take action related to your products, claims, or marketing. Our findings reflect our reading of public data at a point in time and may change as sources change.

Intellectual property

You own your content — your website, your copy, and the material you submit. We own the ComplianceGuard report format, methodology, scoring approach, and the underlying tooling that produces your report. You may use your delivered report within your organisation; you may not resell it or present it as a ComplianceGuard certification of another party without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ComplianceGuard is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on any report. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant plan.

Acceptable use

  • Do not submit websites you do not have the right to request a scan of.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service or its infrastructure.
  • Do not use the service to harass, defame, or misrepresent any third party, including by presenting our informational findings as legal conclusions.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Texas.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
